Hebrews 2:18 (AMPC), “For because He Himself [in His humanity] has suffered in being tempted (tested and tried), He is able [immediately] to run to the cry of (assist, relieve) those who are being tempted and tested and tried [and who therefore are being exposed to suffering].”
 

Whenever you find yourself being tempted to doubt or fear in the face of opposition - be assured that help is not far away! Hebrews 3:6 says, “But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.” The Bible declares that Jesus is the head over the church. He has personally taken upon Himself the responsibility of leading us into the victory He has already secured for us. The Bible says Jesus has overcome every trial and challenge we will ever encounter in this life - and has already provided a way out of it - and into victory! 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” 2 Corinthians 2:14 says we are to thank God, because He always leads us in triumph in Christ! Remember, the Bible says Jesus faced every temptation we will ever face - and He overcame each one. He did it as a human, just like us. He showed us how to overcome by keeping our focus on His Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit. As our minds agree with the Word, faith comes! It begins to rise up from our spirit-man, releasing peace, life, and joy! And as it rises up, like a mighty flowing river - we open our mouths and speak words that carry that faith! As a result - every opposing obstacle moves out of our way in obedience to God’s powerful Word. Never give into the temptation to shrink back in fear or despair when tough times come - rather remember Jesus - the Author and Completer of your faith! With His Word and Spirit inside you - there is nothing powerful enough to keep you from overcoming, joyfully - every time!
