Keep Your Path Focused

There are times where in order for us to advance in what God has called us to do, we need a significant breakthrough. That's what Esther faced when the future existence of her nation was thrust into her hands. In order for her to succeed, she needed to have a clear, focused plan of action and great determination to carry it out. Esther knew her complete commitment was essential. She dare not allow fear, of what failure could bring, prevent her from following through. That's why her plan had to be from the wisdom of God, and not her own. The future of the Jews could not be trusted with her own insight or understanding. Doesn't that sound like Proverbs 3:5-6? It says, "Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." God's plan for your breakthrough may not seem the easiest at first, but it's always the best. He has guaranteed to guide your every step and protect you, leading you to success; when you keep a single minded focus and steadfast commitment to follow through on what He says. Proverbs 4:26-27 says, "Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left...." Look at what verse 12 promises, "When you walk, your steps shall not be hampered [your path will be clear and open]; and when you run, you shall not stumble." Decide to go before the Lord, get His plan for advancement, then follow through with focused determination and commitment. His way always leads to success.
