Consider Jesus!

No matter what bad news is surrounding you or what threats the enemy may be bombarding your mind with, take your eyes off the trouble and consider Jesus! The Bible says when our thoughts are fixed on the cares of the world, doubt and unbelief, along with worry and fear, will enter our hearts and minds. They paralyse our faith causing our spirit man to no longer dominate our lives with faith and life, making us weary and discouraged in our souls. So take back the authority over your thoughts and think about Jesus, Who is the author and finisher of your faith. Think about the victory He has already won for you to overcome. You can trust Him to be your source, and to take care of your every need, regardless of what happens around you. He will always make a way for you. Think about His Word that is irrefutable and will always produce what it has promised. James 1:21 says the Word that is implanted and rooted in your heart has the power to save your soul. Refuse to be moved by what is happening around you, rather be moved by the thoughts of God! John 14:1 says, "DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me." Jesus endured every negative attack that came against His life. He even endured the cross, so we don't have to ever suffer defeat at the hand of the enemy. Let Isaiah 40:29-31 be what you fill your heart and mind with today as you consider Jesus, "He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]... those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired." Make this your truth today!
