Why do we spend so much time worrying and being anxious, trying to find our peace anywhere but in God? The Word says that God is the source of our hope. Hope means being full of expectation, so when our hope is in and from God, we fully expect Him to be all we need. Which is really exciting since Ephesians 3:19 says that we are wholly filled and flooded with all the fullness of God! It's says, "...that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!" Because God lives inside us, all we will ever need for a full, satisfied life, in us. Now we need to tap into that source, by spending time seeking God with our whole heart in prayer and in His Word. This way we will know what His will is, and will do things His way, each day, in every decision. When we make this our first priority, favour and provision come. It's that simple. Knowing and doing God's will from spending time with Him, brings supernatural joy and peace because we trust Him. What's more, is the power of the Holy Spirit is released to flow in and from our lives because we have chosen to make the Lord our dwelling place and align every thought and action with what His Word teaches us. Our responsibility is to spend time with Him, understanding His will for each day and giving our life to follow it, trusting His power to do it's perfect work in our lives. His responsibility is to honour His Word, which He has already done. As far as God is concerned, everything He has promised is already fulfilled, its a done deal. He's just waiting for us to get on board with Him and live every day with the hope and full expectation of living in His fullness! Don't delay another moment, get alone with God, hear His voice and do what He instructs you to do. Your obedience and trust will lead you into the abundance He has already provided for you.
