Every born-again child of God is called to live full-time for the Lord, regardless of what they do for a living. Together, we all form part of the body, with the call to surrender our lives to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to transform us into the character of Christ. As we yield to Him, and are controlled by Him, we become the empowered carriers of His goodness and glory, reaching and touching the lives of all people, everywhere for His kingdom. No matter what we encounter in this world, the Apostle Paul said we must be soldiers, fully equipped and ready to take on every challenge that comes our way. It's our responsibility to train our senses to follow after the Spirit of God, by continually renewing our minds to His Word. When we speak, our words must line up with His and our actions must be above reproach. When we understand the power we have in the armour of God that is permanently a part of who we are in Christ Jesus, we never have to be afraid or feel intimidated. Because we know what the Word says we are, and we believe what it says we can do, nothing can stand in the way of God's perfect will being carried out in us. So, don't hide your light or stay silent. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we know it contains the power of salvation. Decide to be a diligent soldier, ready to fight the good fight of faith by the power of God that is alive inside you. Keep the Word hidden in your heart and be ready to speak its truth every time the Spirit leads you to do so. That's how you will carry out the ministry God has given you.
