We are all in the process of growing into maturity in Christ. Jesus intentionally moulded a lifestyle for every believer to follow. He demonstrated His inseparable relationship with His Father and complete dependency on the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in His purpose on earth. To settle for anything less than a life based on the character and example of Christ, means forfeiting the very purpose of His redemptive work in us. We have been redeemed to live free of the power of sin and victorious over every circumstance designed to steal our peace. Abundant, overflowing life is ours to enjoy through the finished work of the cross. So lets keep looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, knowing Him by His Spirit through His Word, until His life is fully formed in us.
