Rewarding Faith

by Dr Andre and Jenny Roebert
Sunday, September 17 2017 | Reading taken from Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)

There is a kind of faith that attracts God’s attention and receives great recognition from Him. In fact, it even impresses Him. It's the faith that says, "Even though I cannot see you Lord, I believe you are real, and attentive to me. I believe you care and are able. I believe that no matter what storms rage around me, you are my peace and salvation." Faith that is only based on seeing results is not faith at all. In truth, only believing in God based on the prayers we see Him answer, reveals a shallowness of faith that is easily shaken. To God, true faith is placing our trust in Him, and His ability to be faithful to His Word, before we see it fulfilled. That kind of faith is stronger than any other because it's based on the person of God, and not just the results of His goodness. And it's that kind of faith He has promised to reward.
