When we are born again, as the scriptures say, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside us. Then, the Bible says that we can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, where He infuses us with power, like a fountain of life, that energises and strengthens us from the inside. John 7:38-39 says, "He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, 'From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.'...". When we allow the Spirit of God to dominate and fill our lives in all His richness, He will fill us to overflowing. In 1 Corinthians 1:4-5, Paul tells us of the grace of God that is poured out and bestowed on us, to enrich us. This grace is the supernatural touch of His presence that always brings a visible manifestation. When we remain filled with the Holy Spirit by yielding to His presence in our lives, the work He does in us noticeably transforms us. The empowering, enriching touch of God changes us from the inside out. It equips and empowers us to do what naturally and normally we are not able to do. It changes our thinking to be in line with the truth of God when we meditate on the Word, it causes us to have victory over sin and gives us a strong boldness to testify to others about our faith in Jesus. Unquenchable joy and peace and inner strength flow mightily, and without limit when we embrace the Holy Spirit's touch in our lives. If you are needing a fresh infusion of His presence today, you can receive it by faith. Just open your heart to Him and ask Him to fill you to overflowing, removing all things that would hinder His dominating every area of your life. Then linger in His presence, worship Him uninhibited, and let His Presence flood every part of you, till you are full to overflowing.
